 Born and bred in Boston, now residing in Baltimore, B.Eveready draws inspiration from wide-ranging influences, from Hip-Hop greats like Nas and B.I.G., to soul legends like Stevie Wonder, James Brown and Marvin Gaye, and everything in between.  With family roots in Barbados as well, his music melds the hood and posh places.

 

    Committed to excellence, and meticulous about the music he makes, newcomers can reference Jay-Z, Common, Gangstarr, Tupac, Wu Tang, The Roots, Kanye West, and Black Star (Talib Kweli + Mos Def) to better understand B., his foundation, and his motivation.  The sound is a blend of that old school knock, social commentary, and punch lines that'll make you hit the rewind button more than once.

     A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a sincere Christian, B's intelligence & faith permeates his music & informs his perspective on the world. In his productive career, B.Eveready has recorded or performed with The Last Poets, Cappadonna (of the Wu-Tang Clan), Talib Kweli, Jin the MC, Skyzoo, Torae, Mickey Factz, Ski Beatz (producer on Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt), K.E. On The Track (multi-platinum & Grammy-nominated producer, including Rick Ross & Jay-Z's Devil Is A Lie & Future's Magic) Red Cafe, Emilio Rojas, Chen Lo, Chaundon, Daru Jones (drummer for Jack White & The Stripes), and more.

      The tracks from his 2008 "C.P.T." Mixtape, have been downloaded over 10,000 times, and 2011's The "Guns & Butta" EP/Mixtape, 2012's "A Cold Summer's Day" EP, the compilation album "#INeedAManager" (2012), the "#GrindSeason" EP (2015), 2017's "#INeedAManager: The Re-Up", 2018's "#GS2" EP, and 2020's The "#OutGrind" Mixtape & "Throwback Theatre" EP have all been well received by critics and fans alike, amassing well over 500k streams on Spotify alone.  2021 was quite productive, with the release of "Waiting to Inhale" featuring Kxng Crooked & MC Bravado, the incendiary project "The Answer", the deluxe edition of "GS2", and a collaborative EP with K.E. On The Track called "The Standard" EP.  B is now focused on dropping a litany of new singles and projects in 2023 & beyond, to secure his legacy & place in the pantheon of Hip-Hop.

      B wouldn't be an emcee if he didn’t consider himself one of the greats. He is working to emulate what the legends before him have done.
